Been there, sone that and can happily say that the engineering only gets applied in small doses to their top end models. Personally I think the germans have got it all wrong - they throw in some wood, leather, wind noise damping, bump absorbing shocks and call it quality - after some years all the rubber strats cracking, plastics start dulling and warping etc. Germans do "yuppie" - japs do quality. You even get guys and girls on scooters on the track.Many of the SUVs are guys from the UK that drive out for a Weekend. The Motorsport academy also does a advanced SUV course with Range Rovers. Wannabe Posted April 25, 2012 Share It was a Mercedes CLS before the GTR.Nissan has a big shop and test center at the Nurburgring so it may have something to do with that. Did you know that Wilhelm Baard (Nissan SA) had / has a big hand in the devolopement of the GTR range of Nissans?
