But that's what track is about...no? Seriously, from the three pics I've seen, it looks like he is pushing away a rider who is about to cut into him, rather than pulling someone down.

A possibility..we were not there to witness anything. Maybe JAVA001 can elaborate as he saw everything.

BTW...I dont think Bradwin would have beaten Wayne.

I'm not condoning the behaviour. See my follow-up post. Track is vicious. I'm relying on pics and your recollection here.

Maybe I explained this badly........... I am not drawing conclusions based on three photos or my recollection of events or asking of Hubbers to look at evidence and agree or disagree with me. This has been done by experts already and will be concluded later.

The track officials immediately and during the 5 day event that ended on Sunday reviewed other official video and photo footage and eyewitness accounts ( official ones - not from me; I am a team manager, not a CSA or Track Official). This is why Daniels did not take part after this and why there will be a disciplinary hearing.

I simply posted the photo obtained, showing the fall - both riders(and a few others) were pushing and shoving and within certain parameters this is acceptable - certainly not "what track is about", but acceptable.

Whilst the photo posted appears to show Pheiffer moving towards Daniels, remember this is a 42 degrees embanked track, with Daniels positioned above Pheiffer. The movement towards Daniels and the bike already at a bad lean angle with front wheel off the concrete is shown in other footage as being directly as result of a heavy pull/tug on the handlebars.

Bradwin raced Shane; Wayne is Shane's father. Have seen Shane race more than Bradwin, so a difficult call. Shane perhaps the better rider by a small margin, but he trains mostly on a flatter embanked 500 m track oval. Bradwin knows the Velodrome better.

Thanks for that. I trust your judgment and account, just wanted some more input. If the kid is guilty, then he must fry.

As a team manager - I hope not Pheiffer's - should you even be commenting on this while it is still being sorted out by CSA?

Forget commenting, starting a thread that trashes the youngster without the benefit of his response is worse form from a team manager.

It will not change what happened on the track - I would still like to hear what went on before to cause this reaction from Daniels, stuff doesn't happen for no reason all that often - but this thread could influence the outcome of a hearing if your ill-advised posting here is used by Daniels. He can rightfully feel grumpy he is being found guilty in his absence here.

Not clever, IMHO. Let the correct processes do their thing.

Huh, do you gauties think you're special or something? Why didn't you all travel down to the Cape and show us how it should be done then. This was SA's after all, or was it just pointless knowing you'd spend all that money and win nothing anyway?

Would anything justify this behaviour?

Was what he did wrong? Yes it probably was.

The bottom line here is that cycling at a higher level is not for sissies. Dont get angry get even.

Malcolm Lange is a big **** on the bike, thats how it works. Its hard and if you cant fit in youll have to f@ck off.

Eish. See u pack a pu$$y$ haven't sorted this yet.

I had a very good long look at the Photos. 1. It appears that the cyclist who fell over can not hold a line. 2. It appears that the 'poor' cyclist who you want to lynch/hang/make-eat-dirt/ban-for-life/give a smack to/send-to-Gunteng was simply trying to help hold him up.

Careless rider.

And how can he possibly break a collar bone falling on a polished floor? Good grief! 'Us lot' fall on trees and rocks and hard ***, and all we break is components.

Oh, hold on. I noticed something else - HE DID NOT LET GO OF HIS HANDLEBARS! Serves him right. Pantywaist!

It is just as the writing 'on the wall' behind says: THESHITYWORKSFORYOU (it IS a bit blurred, at least I think that is what is written. Thekerningisrathertight)

The rider have been banned before and is banned again for 3 months.

For sorting him out: about 2 years ago one guy sorted him out, and the next Sunday he was in the news paper for being a racist, his parents wrote an article.

After he cause the crash at the SA's, the people wanted to bliksem him, but he stopped in the banking, threw his bike over the fencing and ran away.

The race before that one, he also got DQ for dangerous riding. When the official went to chat to him, he threw his bike on the floor followed by his helmet and swore at the official.
