This is my new (to me) Yeti ASX. First ride was this arvo. Turns out my Mbuzi was way too short so it's going to my mate Vince's son. It will make a great little dh bike for him.

This thing rides up like my mbuzi but down I'd go so far as to say it's better than my Izimu was. Amazing what a linkage can do. There's a rockshox monarch that's going on there as soon as the blown seal is sorted. My Avid Codes will also make their way onto there soon too. It's a bit tatty so if anyone knows of a place that can acid wash or soda/bead blast it please tell me.

Sorry for the crappy cellphone pic.

My Yeti ASX all done. When the money comes I'm hoping to get it bead blasted raw. I've "found" some yeti logo files on the interwebs. Gonna do those in black.

I've put my Avid Codes with straitline blingy levers on and changed it to the 160mm travel setting. hopefully it will pedal up a bit better.

Here she is....my Morewood Shova!

Pics from her first session in Tokai last weekend....im still grinning from ear to ear!

Makes such a difference compared to the HT i was riding before!

Excuse the shoddy pic quality...they look alot better on the cellphone screen..lol!

Basic Spec breakdown:

2010 Shova Frame (purchased new a few weeks ago from the Morewood Factory)

Rock Shox Revelation 150mm RLT Ti

Fox DHX 4.0 Air

Alex RIms

Hope Pro 2 hubs

Maxxis High Roller 2.35 Super Tacky (Front)

Maxxis High Roller 2.35 60a compound (Rear)

Syncros FR31 Handlebar with Sram locking grips.

Shimano Slx rear mech

Shimano Deore Front mech

Shimano Octalink triple crankset

Deore Shifters and Breaks

(Still need to fit some decent flat pedals)

I know the groupset spec isnt that great but will eventually swop the groupset out for a 2x10...but that will have to wait!

So i will be enjoying her as she is for a while...but after last weekends session im not complaining at all!!! :)

I let the 120mm slide because the OP did mention 120mm... although he said "more than 120mm travel"...

Decided on the large...Medium i think would have definitely been that tad too small...Large feels good!

Hahahahah! Well spotted....

As mentioned in my first post, still looking to get a decent set of flat pedals...the shoes im currently riding in and those standard pedals that came with the crankset dont work very together so hence the toeclips...

Busy looking at pedal options...pretty keen on some crank bro's 50/50's...but no one has stock! Other suggestions???

Ok, i'll stop talking now...lol!
