I have just got this 70's Raleigh Chopper :D :D :D and would like to know if there are other Chopper owners out there that could assist me with information on possible websites/suppliers iro spares for the complete restoration of it.

there was the bloke on the hub from the UK who was a raleigh freak... he knew every raleigh bike ever made. heck the one chopper even had a radio on it as standard

Ja, the Raleigh guy's name was ... well, Raleigh is I remember. Seemed severely clued up. Haven't seen him post for a while, but maybe try a PM.

Where did you find that sir? The last one I saw was about 15+ years ago, in the Inanda valley, with 2 kids on it, no rubber, no brakes.

Got it from a local PE "Informal settlement resident"

Paid 600 bucks for it - I somehow don't think I over capitalized..... :blush:
