How to shake a cold

Recommended Posts

Hey Fellow hubbers

I am hoping i am posting this in the right section.

Was just wondering what other fellow hubbers do to shake a cold/flu.

I was fine yesterday morning but by last night i had a sore throat and a nasal drip. There went my chances of doing Walkerville.

I felt like crap.

I used Echinaforce ad that solved the sore throat problem but i feel like i have been hit by a truck.

I have even resorted to putting the toilet roll on my desk so i dont need to get up every time to blow my nose.

HELP would be appreciated.

Sorry you're feeling so bad, try the "flu cocktail" or "fizz bomb" - one Corenza C, one ACC 200 and one Linctagon C in a glass of water three times a day. Hope it helps, if not get to a doctor, this 'flu is a bad one!

Corenza C X 2 every 3 to 4 hours... should sort you out pretty quick, maybe take a day off to sleep it off as well.

i end up taking like 3000mg of vit c during the day and 40 drops of echina force 3 times daily.

Sorts me out generally.

Rest! Lots of water, good nutrition and vitamin C

Above the neck you can train lightly, below the neck stay in bed!

Vit C overdose. LOTS of water. 4 liters + a day. Helps your body get rid of excess vitamins en get rid of bugs. Fresh fruit and veg

Rest

No exercise - you'll screw up your heart.

There's no way to deal with the flu virus other than to ride it out (not literally ;)

The after effects of this I find that for me Locobiotal is amazing. Check it out. 4 times a day, every 6 hours. I don't get any infections and normally can kill off a flu in 2 days. Before I used to get sick for 2 weeks.

Rooibos, with ginger, honey and whiskey does it for me.

Damn - thats like a hippie hot toddy!

Me - I'm a fizz bomb fan.

3 times a day you I smackd:

A vita force immune booster and a fizz bomb containing Cal C Vita and Caroncen C.

After 5 days I feel way better.

Increase water intake.

The recommendation seems to be quite similar along this thread...

I am just starting with a cold this morning. My fault though for going big Friday and Saturday and then riding Walkerville on minimum sleep.

Its ok though, good excuse for me to rest.

Corenza C

Don't use this if there's any chance that you will be drug tested. It contains pseudoephedrine which is on the banned substance list.

Very good combo. Ad a Gripon 3 times a day and you will be good as new.

Rest and eat well, or eat very nutritiously at least, and try anything else that will boost your immune system i.e. supplements. Do't do anything that will compromise your immune system, it needs to fight the virus, so the more you help it the faster you will recover.
