Short hard efforts, Accelerate.

Longer, constant speed rides, Endure

Yes, they have a recovery drink, strangely enough called Recover. :whistling: Can also be used as a pre ride drink (I do, and it works a charm)

During races I also use the Accelerate chew tabs. No need to eat on the bike, all the energy comes from there.

I buy my stuff from a smallish Physio shop. Seeing that their overheads is not that high, it is cheaper than any other place.

Dischem is best of the rest with prices in the region of R270.00. Sometimes they even bundle the products for a brilliant price you cannot beat.

Wannabe

would you agree, most social rides, prob fall into the longer constant speed/Endurance bucket.

So also the 3-4 hours outrides.

I'm thinking the accelerate is prob the kids doing XCO at full tilt... :)

Lately I use Endure for all rides, only the chews is Accelerate. Find that way I do not suffer from any post exercise headaches.

I use the bars on long rides and planning to use it in 70.3 next weekend. Works like a charm to me, I eat 2 bars on the bike.

I use 32GI Endure for when I train and race they go for about that price range. I bought mine from CWC for R265.

For recovery I use Optimum Nutrition "Platinum Whey" vanilla its expensvie but works like a bomb and taste good too

  • 2 months later...

I've been cycling with 32Gi for 3/4 years now, I love it, but when I look at the nutritional fact between 32Gi and a tub of good old game, all the facts are more or less the same, so what am I missing?

Sugar contents, if you are prone to suffer from Headaches due to the Sugar Spike. 32Gi does not "spike"

so, in a word...

Does this work or will i be pissing money down the inside of my bib?

Yes/No?

Yes it does work ... but be careful to mix with any other supplements ...

For me its like a magic spell, but if I take something that screws with the workings of 32gi ... Thats it ... Im stuffed ...

Maybe the same reason Snytjie experienced what he did ...

Thought this myth has been debunked? There is no spike during exercise
