Bike Mob Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 I had to be carefull while voting but I think I still fall into Auto-Tjopism
The Drongo Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 No indicator lights and foglights permanently on?? In this instance the practical subtlety of a full 9 speed "Mountain Bike" with road wheels.

Tieffels Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 When you don't do it justice, be it ability or appreciation. Â Re appreciation: Some guys have Dogmas because they have a strong emotional connection with the bike, that I respect. Others have Dogmas because they know other people know it's a k@k expensive bike..
AndreZA Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 No indicator lights and foglights permanently on?? I think those LED headlight jobbies permanently on also falls into this category. People will now say "but you are XX% more visible" Then I would say "I bet you they never use to drive with their lights on before they got the LED equipped car". What is actually worst is the aftermarket LED kit that get fitted to Citi Golf and Corolas.
RudoJ Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 U do get tjops on bikes below R5000-00 and can also pay R43-00 for 4 small lamb tjops at Spar too...choice is yours! I know guys with 20K+ bikes and they arent tjops, just hate them for their nice bikes!

Minion Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 (edited) The moment you tell someone how much your bike costs without them asking you about it. You may have a cheap bike and you want everyone to know how alternative you are by going against the trend; you may have an expensive bike and you want people to know how much cash you have (had?); whatever the reason, as soon as you feel the need to boast to other people, you are a tjop.
