goya-goya Posted October 16, 2011 Share I have a confession to make: I made a whine about CWC.. when they said the computers were packed away when my order was late... Well I got my order... a bit later than expected... but I got the wrong thing!... I ordered carbon Look Quartz pedals... and they gave me the graphite ones... I called to complain because the order was late and they sent the incorrect stuff...So I spoke to - I think Stephen ... Let me add some salient information:The order was sent to them just before they started moving premises so the late-ness can be excused; They did send me the CORRECT pedals!! I was looking for the word "carbon" on the pedal as with the older type but the new type just has a "c"Just as I was about to let rip into Stephen at the incompetence of the organisation... my friend who had Googled the new model, told me that I was the idiot... the correct stuff has arrived... Now let me give koodo's to CWC and Stephen...He did not argue with me when I told him I got the incorrect stuff... He just asked me to please send it back to them... and once I had the tracking number...He would send the correct stuff - THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT! .. He was extremely apologetic... when my buddy informed me of my ignorance... I told Stephen of my mistake and apologized for being a right ASS! He just said cool we all make mistakes... and he was glad I got my order I will be ordering from them again!
Tiny K Posted October 16, 2011 Share HAHAHAHA! where are all the CWC haters now? Well done to you (well your buddy actually) for spotting the mistake and informing them of it. BUT now that you have seen your mistake, is it actually the pedals you were looking for? or was it the other ones?
(Deon) Posted October 16, 2011 Share I stand behind these guys. They have impressed me on response to issues... Sorry for the guys who are struggling, I'm sure not all orders go out smoothly, I am sure I will be there oneday too. But at least they are responsive... Tiny K Posted October 16, 2011 Share So long as you take her mood swings and general issues too! What are you doing wrong? My wife buys all my cycling stuff. (and most of my motorcycling stuff... ) It is not like I don't get anything at all - on the contrary - I have gotten a hell of a lot from her. It's just that with the additional income, it means I can get MORE, sooner It is difficult to save up for a groupo when there are so many other unplanned expenses - like a summer bike jacket for her, front tyres for my bakkie, my new bicycle frame and speedplay pedals, ag you know, the unplanned stuff @goya - I know man, I am married to one. Nothing a lindt dark blueberry can't fix. Dark choc so non-fattening (I think) and she likes it. otherwise the 80% dark is nice too.
CAAD4 Posted October 17, 2011 Share I don't agree with the topic heading. When I worked in retail mine was, "The customer may not always be right, but he is King!"
Tumbleweed Posted October 17, 2011 Share I don't agree with the topic heading. When I worked in retail mine was, "The customer may not always be right, but he is King!" I prefer Mud Dee's version: The customer is always right…until it starts costing you money.
