If to try something new: Look Quartz. As for worried about XT on XX and SRAM FD with Shimano chain and campag cassette with FSA crank and KCNC chainrings...who gives a sheet! Ride more, worry less (about what the hell other people think!)

I've got XTR pedals I bought in 1998, and they are still 100%. Still use them on my race bike. I'll always stay with Shimano pedals.

if im feeling pro? is this because they so small akward looking? At least the XT's are two flat sides so if you need to take off on a hill with a powerful push you can without cleating in if your not, not so....
