Thread has gone very quite. With apologies to Fawlty Towers fans

 

Basil: Listen, don't mention the cricket! I mentioned it once, but I think I got away with it all right. So! It's all forgotten now, and let's hear no more about it. So, that's two egg mayonnaise, a prawn Root, a Moeen Ali, and four Old Trafford salads.

We were out batted completely.....they scored normal 5 day scores....we scored rubbish

Besides the obvious batting issues, we were also a few bowlers short. Morkel and Maharaj played well. Big Vern just looked overweight and battled with fitness. Rabada was disappointing and Olivier was all over the place.

The Vern had a tummy bug

Morris's performance was poor. It was a real opportunity for him to step up with all the bowler challenges for SA.

 

Middle order, other than LionHeart Bavuma, a big challenge ????

The search for a good opener alongside Elgar continues

Even if you take away his tummy bug, he just looked "heavy'
