Have mixed feelings :

Warner c Bairstow b Archer 5

He survived for 7 balls and managed a thick edge through the slips for 4 which broke his admirable series of ducks, but his average dropped further to just over 9 in 9 innings since he bullied a new team member into egregious cheating.

Love it!

How long before Cricket Australia is forced to drop him due to his non-existent form...?

Didn't follow this test. So please do share.

I assume Steve Smith didn't put on back to back 100 scores and thus the Poms got a chance and Archer showed some bowling form again?

Steve Smith 2 - 2 Poms

Ja nee ⚠️

What a batter

The English did miss their swing bowler Jimmy though

What could’ve been ????

So Faf picks 3 spinners. At least he won't get a ban for slow over rate  :D

30 overs in first session - on track!

was a bit surprised to see muthusamy in there, basically because he's not really been in the mix at all? he did ok (but better than Kesh) in the 4day series last year, would much rather have seen Simon Harmer, but he's kolpak.

ps. this is world #1 vs world #3   VERY little spice unfortunately, which shows the marketability of our team, and sadly the money they can generate (#4 vs #5 had plenty going for it)

they're at a lank obscure ground holding only it's second test..and it looks rather empty too.

Think India is hurtling towards a 1st innings score of 600+

Bat once, bat big.

Best we can hope for is a draw.

geez they are targetting piedt..12 overs for 81.

I think it's safe to say that this will be a draw or a huge indian victory. almost the only way we could win would be to follow on and the pitch crumbles so they fall on the final day....unlikely
