WPCA cancelled the entire club cricket season over the weekend. There was going to be a shortened season starting some time in Feb, but they have now pulled the plug completely. I feel sorry for my mates. While golfers and cyclists can enjoy their hobbies, spare a thought for these guys who have nothing. Langa CC wrote a letter to the WPCA arguing that the loss of interest among the youth in the gang ravaged areas will do these youngsters no good as boredom will now drive them to other nefarious activities. I kind of see their point. In a way im glad i hung up my bowling boots a couple of years ago, but still.

Well that sucks balls, it is just further proof of the big three being bullies whenever possible. the sooner we gang up with SL, pakistand, Wi and new zealand the better.

I blame England for this one. The false positives making them leave and then double standards of playing Sri lanka who came directly from SA the next month.

it does mean, oddly that NZ are going to make the WTC final, and all because of losing points for bolwing slowly

PCT as on 19/1/2021 - India (71.7), New Zealand (70.0), Australia (69.2), England (65.2), South Africa (40.0), Pakistan (30.7), Sri Lanka (19.0), West Indies (11.1), Bangladesh (0.0)

Looks like we might be down a bowler, Linde off to the x-ray room for what appears to be a broken pinky on his bowling hand.

Thank goodness the captaincy issue will be addressed soon, my money is on Rassie.

And finally: #%^*€>< the Aussies!!! The big three giving the rest of the cricketing world a proper middle finger. Not surprising at all!

Come on the Proteas!

Oh, and why is Pieter Malan or his brother, Janneman, not in the Protea squad???

Aussies are yellowbellied cowards, that's all I'm saying about that.

None too sure about Rassie being captain. Elgar would be a better bet.

Pieter Malan 374 (10 innings) runs at 37,4 with a best of 125 and Janneman Malan has a 132 (6 innings) runs at 22 with a best of 65. That's their figures for this season so far in the 4 Day Franchise series. So not exactly kicking the door down.

Let's be fair. COVID is a real thing and Australia has handled the entire pandemic better than most other countries. I would also not be keen on touring to South Africa at this point in time. We should have accepted their offer to go there instead, but we didn't.

As for your last question, you know the real reason.
