Really dig em bro. My shoulders are quite.wide as well, so they fit. But i feel cramped when I get back on my xc bike with its little 650s. They're definitely gonna have to go soon.

650's are way small, unless you are a light weight into racing. :D

I grew from 685mm to currently having 710mm on my bike and now that i'm used to the longer bars, I can see that it's not gonna take me much longer to go to 740mm.

I spent Saturday on my DH rig. That heffalump (I say heffalumpp, but she's a good 3kg lighter than cptmayhem's fatty  ) is running 780mm low rise Answer Pro Tapers. Love them wide bars. But then when I climb back onto my 4X bike (with 700's... so not too skinny)... the bars feel very narrow!

Got the as x. Got the frame and rear shock off the hub for r 1500 ! I thought that at that price it would have problems . The only thing was the seatpost was stuck in the frame. 2 hours of q20 and swearing and its out. Cant wait to ride.

I wonder how many owners my new asx has had. Its like a bike slut. Cant wait to ride her hard. . . . Gonna in down fast i reckon !

2.5 (excluding you)

I bought it off the original owner. Used it for 6 about months until I got my hands on an Ndiza. Then sold it to the gentleman you purchased it from. He didn't ride it much before he stripped it down into parts.

If you ever need spares for it, PM Daft Vader (or I can give you his telephone number). He bought an AS-X the same time as your bikes original owner. But his met a tree at speed so the front triangle isn't too healthy... but he has a DHX 5, rear triangle, derailleur hangers, and linkage he might be willing to sell for cheap.
