Love them, but removed them for the same reason as my 29er bar is much wider than what was on my 26er. Getting used to not having them now, but it took some time. I also do not care what any "style" man thinks. These are probably the same people that wore hipster type bellbottoms with shirts with frills in the seventies and believe that pink is the new black.
