Parking was easy, queues were short. Exactly what I was hoping for, goody bag is not exactly a critical part of my race

Yeh, pretty bumbed on with the expo and the goodie bad...

For a first timer to the expo, I kinda liked it.

Especially iof you think that, that sort of a expo never happens. All you get are like the outdoor expo, or baby expo or wedding expo.

A monkey with a typewriter could do better than this; but hey-ho we know what you meant.

I am going to see if its a good goodie bad or a bad goodie bad later.

The goodie bag was good. It had an envelope with my name on. Inside of this was my race number and the "94.7 manual"

They were also so kind as to provide my with the following items:

1. water bottle to use during the event

2. Breakfast cereal for the morning

3. Coffee for the morning

4. Something to read in the bog house after breakfast

5. Deodorant so I do not smell (like) a rat in the hospitality area

6. Bubblebah(?)/soap/something to use the night before so I am relaxed

7. Some or other miracle vitamin type tablets

The best was the race number though

I went to collect my race number yesterday but as it turned out, it was nowhere to be found.

Had efficient service from the enquiries counter who gave me a new number.

In and out within 10 minutes (including a browse around).

so it is the same goody bag as the MTB

I can categorically state that it is not the same goody bag.

Evidence for this:

1. TWO water bottles on the kitchen counter.

2. I've eaten the 'MTB breakfast cereal'.

3. The 'MTB coffee' was consumed before the Roadie expo.

4. Two different race numbers.

I actually liked it... Not too crowded so was easy to droll over the above-pictured ellsworth (new job, more money, less petrol and vehicle maintenance... Let's see what the new year brings). Had a decent neck/shoulder session at the physios... Can move so will be able to cycle. Goodie bag had things I will use, sorry to the maid. Lekker chat with Tumbles... Hope he enjoys his sunday with his boys.

Hey SP, nice to see ya too. Boys had a mellow Sunday.

Thought the Expo was cool. Chatted to loads of friends, and was lekker to sign up so many new readers at the mag's stand.

Damn, I really want that belt-drive I saw at the Raleigh stand.
