Ta.

Think you boys are helping me make up my mind.

Eish! Not an easy choice. To go with your jeans or suite?

I wish I had money to be able to afford what Wayne is getting :(

But my brother, enjoy

Just a heads up, whilst searching watches today, I found this, the prices look killer.

Festina

My wife said I can get a 10 year service award from work ,so now I am on the hunt, the budget is limited though

If I could afford that Mont I would even wear a bow tie around my nuts.

But what i am saving up for my Christmas present to myself is either one of these...

Leaning more toward the Mont Blanc

I prefer the Rolex myself. Classy and understated.

Omega Seamaster.

Baum & Mercier Hampton.

Tissot Rockwatch.

Ooh Would love to get my hands on a Rockwatch. A real classic. The Seamaster too!!

Bought a Tissot Le Cocle Automatic last week at Heathrow for a steal. Will post pics later.

I'd go for the Mont out of those 2, Wayne. Looks a bit more clean and finished.

+1 Looks plain gorgeous!!!! And I'm not a Rolex fan...

Holy cow...this is nice.

But its over a mil.

nice watch though

Zenith - most of their stuff too over the top for my liking. That one is 21mm thick (or thereabouts) and I think a 46mm diameter case so unless you have arms (wrists) like Donkey Kong they're a 'mare to wear. Forget it with a long sleeved work shirt certainly. Oh and that price too, but then you won't find a watch with a tourbillon in it for less than that... except some Chinese knock-offs maybe.

Nothing wrong with those. My Festina Chronobike has been a real workhorse...

Seeing as this thread has gone a bit beyond "what are you wearing"...

...the wishlist - and still realistically priced, i.e. affordable by mortal man

Tutima Grand Classic Chrono

Sinn 900 Flieger

Sinn 857 UTC

Nomos Club Date

Fortis B42 Flieger

Anonimo Polluce Bronze

Anonimo Marlin

and lastly Nomos Sundial (sadly only works properly in the northern Hemisphere, but I live in hope they make a southern hemisphere one)

...don't much like mainstream brands as you may notice. No fan of quartz either, all the above are mechanical...even the Sundial :D

Anybody here have a watch winder? Hardcore gadget for a hardcore collector!

Hi flymango, yip got one and it works brilliant. It keeps the watch in a 'safe' place and you also never have to adjust time if you haven't wore the watch for more than two days.
