I need new running shoes

I have been using a pair of Asics Cumulus 12 for road running for the last year and want a new pair of shoes. Do I stick with a winning formula or is there something else you good folks can recommend ?

 

ALSO where can I get the best price for running shoes in and around Randburg ? Sportsmans want R1300 for Cumulus 13

Hmmm kinda reminds me of when I decided to try a set of Specialized pros instead of buying Gator skins. What a disaster !

If I'm not mistaken the Randburg Runner is selling Cumulus 13's for R995 at the moment. Saw the advert in a running magazine (the newspaper type that is handed out for free).

Stick with what works. I changed , change created an injury and as a result will not be doing 70.3 this year,Back to the old shoes and problem going away. I spent more than the cost of a good pair of shoes on Physio. :blush:

Keep with the Cumulus 13 or if you want to try the Nimbus 13, i have run with both and they are great

I changed from Asics Cumulus 12 to Nike Free run 3. Best decision ever.

I would say take them with to a proper running shop like the Randburrg/Linden runner and explain your needs, maybe they can recommend something more suitable or the same but cheaper
