Is any else irritated by the fact that we pay such good money and the toilet facilities are pathetic, the gents loo in the main hall didn't flush and had no paper, the outside one had lack of paper and one stall had no door. What is wrong with these organizers...

Maybe we need to **** on the start line like the one roadie once upon a time to get attention...

Never went in there. The bushes still works for me.

But if you decide to **** on the start line please inform me so that I can remove myself from your starting group, or be prepared to get some 32GI and Future life mixed up in the protest.

Edit - Typo

Must say, the ladies were no better. No water, so it began to pile up

Unfortunately for us, it's not as easy as finding a bush and pointing!

I hear you.My wife recently started to get interested in Mtb'ing , and also doing events with me.She actually asked me if there were toilets along the route at the Crater Cruise and how she would go to the loo if she was wearing a bib.I had no descent answer. The organizers must really do something about this.

Seriously though, we used the fascilities in that big empty building where the kiddies played with their bikes. Those toilets were squeeky clean and worked perfectly

Ditto on the single track next to the river - that was sweet. Vast improvement from 2 years ago, although a bit of sand to keep one honest.

Talking toilets, don't know if anyone else picked up the whiff of sewerage from time to time next to the river. Was it the river, or some sewerage works?

Are you sure you want the organisers to help your missus out of her bib so she can do a wee?

Hahaha!

I tried those loo's before the start and they were super clean, but had no water at the time. Perhaps they sorted that out...
