I rather want to finish faster than have dry feet. I won't be bombing through water crossings though, that's stupid. Screws up your bike. Rather coast through and close the 5 seconds you lost back up to the group you were with. I cannot believe all this rain weather in CApe Town is not going there.....I know what you mean but seeing the SABC forecast today you can see a clear split in the weather round about the Eastern / Western Cape border goin North - maybe its got someting to do with the meeting of the oceans.
