Anyone here taken a sphere photo using the google camera? I cant seem to get it to work even with googling how to. I downloaded the latest version of the camera(Version 2.5) from play store and I just don't seem to have the option to take the photo. I'm using an LG G4 beat with android version 5.1.1

Not sure about taking a sphere photo using Google camera, but would taking a photo using a Fish-Eye lens turn out similar to a sphere photo?

Ordered a 3-in-1 multifunctional camera lens for my iPhone from Takealot the other day, comes with a Fish-Eye, Wide Angle, and Macro lens.

I see iToys has a universal 3-in-1 camera lens set, which should work on most phones.

But as I say, I'm not too sure if a fish-eye photo would be the same as a spherical photo.

If you're interested in getting a lens set, maybe first get in contact with iToys and ask them if the lens set will work on your phone.

Thanks for the info, Its definitely worth a try, In fact fish eye might even be better now that I think of it as it will be a whole lot easier to take the photo and probably look much better when viewing(as i am no professional photographer). I'm sure the sphere photo is difficult to do.

I was looking at some of the sphere photos taken from the top of chapmans peak on google maps and they look really awesome so that's what got me interested.

"Flower power". Used some filters in EyeEm.

Here's to new beginnings in a new year.
