In my opinion, those DH FF helmets look like they belong on a gimp outfit if we're talking bike kit and sex toy comparisons. devil.gif

thanx, was wonderring what to do with the last 5 minutes of my day... the thread took care of that...

as for the op question.

Kamikaze - you have to hook your power balance bracelet over the bar-end.

It has been proven to help with staying attached to the bike--specially on the really big airs.

try it, you'll like it!!

<sarcasmAllowed='true'>What`s the purpose of a saddle on a bike? I mean it is just ridiculous don`t you know that standing is the best position to ride in?

They are to stop your helmet from slipping off the bars when you hang it there (while posing at the coffee shop)

But then you probably knew that.

Funny that - the name of the pic you loaded. That is what I call my bike when cycling on severely rutted roads...

i think not getting that i get u not getting it: bar ends, not necessary = easy target for some gatmaak.

DH lid = MX lid (stricter crash requirements though) = necessity.

U savvy now?

but yah, that was lank funny. ha ha ha.

Come now, if you boys can handout you must be able to receive. :whistling:

PS you are 100% correct you don't need bar ends when doing 20km trail rides while clearing a couple of 10cm gaps every now and again.

Must add those 'ergo' ones never worked for me, more into the stub type. I also tried some (pricey) Easton carbon ones on mtb, but they didn't handle a few spills and general mtb action.
