Doug Howlett? Kirwin was better. Campese was even better. Also Michael Jones better than Kaino.

What school is that?

Hoërskool Nylstroom.

The only Springbok that got recognized out of the school in the past 30 years is Arno Botha. So by no means an obvious rugby powerhouse of a school.

The big rugby schools usually poach the really good players.

Very true. Pierre Spies comes to mind, also a Nylstroom native, got picked up by Affies after he was identified in primary school as a promising talent.

I have the greatest respect for Paul Willemse, watch this interview and see how his story unfolded. (Wish it was in English or Afrikaans, so we could get the emotion from his voice. But doing it in French brings home the concept that he has bought into his new country)

I was in close contact with his mentor at the time that the offer came from the French club. It was a tough decision for him, but with hindsight, I think it was the right one for him.

I'm not expecting everyone to love the guy, but I have heard some unfair comments thrown his way and just want people to give the guy some respect as a professional athlete doing the best with the cards he got dealt.(Not being picked in the training group of 80 players in the prime of your playing career sends a pretty clear picture)

I can imagine he and Eben are looking forward to some intimate encounters in the near future. :)

Also how can Habana not be in that team? Maybe not ahead of Lomu but definitely instead of Howlett

7s tickets back available for CT sevens in dec.

looks like they dropped the pricing a bit, wonder if it will see more ticket sales.

because sevens is a great day out. you can see amazing things there. Like this guy dressed up as a sheikh while promoting his tequila brand. and then instagramming it. #cantmakethisstuffup
