This means that 1 member could cast multiple votes (i.e. chose more than one option). If you don't check this box it only allows one option to be selected.

The allow multiple votes option is intended for questions where more than one option is suitable, e.g. Which of the following do you currently ride on a regular basis?Hardtail 26erHardtail 29erFull suss 26erFull suss 29erSomeone could have use of the above so the "Allow multiple choice" option would be suitable. But when it's and either / or type question e.g. If you had R 20k to spend on a MTB would you buy a....Hardtail 29erSoft tail 29erNeitherYou only want people to choose one of the above.
