Cranks look period correct. Looks like Simplex Retro friction down tube shifters. These were the best shifters until shimano release the SIS "click" index shifter. That RD needs to be thrown very far away... Keep it original. quintonb Posted July 22, 2014 Share You are probably right Loose Cog. Here is another link to a 1978 Super. http://www.velociao....ago-super-1978/May be a later model. It has "COLNAGO" embossed on the seat tube lugs and the gear cables run under the BB Shell. The older models have cable guides running on top of the BB Shell.Could be an early '80's model.Colnago used the embossed word "COLNAGO" up until the late '80's and then when on to use the "CLUBS" emblem.
