Complete bike: Anthem or Momsen

If you go Anthem go with the Anthem X1 and use the extra cash to upgrade the wheelset. They weigh 2,120kg and will the biggest return on investment considering your options. Full XT + SID on XO is nice, but doesn't help much when you have to pedal logs.

Frame only + custom built: PYGA

'Nah, 27.5" is for people who can't make up their mind" <-- I don't agree.

26" doesn't work for me, but 29 does. Someone else may feel 29 is too big, 27.5 might just be that sweet spot that works both ways for you... :-)

I'm sure he wasn't...but give it some time, and we'll have a 26/27.5/29 battle on the hub

I think anything more than 100mm is overkill on a 29er unless you wanna do some real burly all mountain stuff, so the Anthem gets my vote, but get some Stans Crest wheels too, go for the x0 if you can afford it.

on the topic, how would you rate the GT Sensor 9er Pro with the above-mentioned 29ers? value for money?

I've got one. Best value for money out there. Only needs a wheel upgrade sometime in the future. And yeah, it bombs downhill - I sometimes forget where the brakes are :w00t:

Awesome, me too. Love the thing to bits. On the DH thing, sometimes it forgets its not a DH bike...
