TNT1 Posted March 30, 2012 Share I'm sure he wasn't...but give it some time, and we'll have a 26/27.5/29 battle on the hub  Fortunately I have a 26/27.5/29 mega merge thread waiting to have more garbage fused into it...

MrJacques Posted March 31, 2012 Share I did...my bike did not a great review. But that does touch on a question I have...for half marathons..are dual sus or HT faster? Depends on who is riding the bike  I've found that a ds bike is faster for me. I can pedal through some bumpy sections where I would have to stand up in the past. The added comfort means I'm less also tired towards the end. The Giant Anthem 29er has some good reviews and is within your price range. If you are willing to wait a little while the Pyga Industries 29er might be worth waiting for.
