Kranswurm Posted March 7, 2012 Share I saw on TV somewhere that F***hile Mbalullaala, or however you spell his name, you know, the one currently responsible for sports in SA, doing a ride from aforementioned Cycle Lab and being fitted for a bike. It was for some sort of charity. Johan had to push the FF ( Fat F..k) up the hill! Maybe Malema was among the crowd as I cannot see him doing it by himself. I was reading the paper over the weekend and there were a few pics of him over the years and he really does look rather porky of late. And heaven help the moron that drives into you, or tries to jack your bike. I see this as positive for the sport. I'm frankly appalled at the stupid, jingoistic comments from some people here. In the big picture we, the sport, need high profile people becoming cyclists. Like I said when you lot all wanked over Zille riding the argust, if it was a black politician, all you'd have was racist bull***t. WTF? TNT In my mind it is not a matter of a black or white politician issue, but an issue of a person who is disruptive and not conducive to making the country work. The Aunty makes the Cape work and deals with matters first hand an in a professional manner .... and the gentleman / new owner of that Trek would still have alot to live up to in order to reach the same levels of public service. Now if all politicians can just remember that they are "Public Servants" and their aim/purpose is for the good of those they serve.
