Hi All

The situation is that we open at 06h30 Saturdays and Sundays.

There is no hard and fast rule as to what time we close, however we usually selling entries at 15h30. In winter we would like users off the trail by 17h30.

In Summer we will post our revised operating hours.

Did anyone ride the new section through the wattle forest? Waiting for feedback on the section from all hubbers.

We were there on Sunday - was awesome!!! Not sure what a waffle forest is?

We did however miss some yellow markers somewhere and ended up back at the start after only 16km, luckily some helpful riders insisted on taking us back and showing us 'the rock' :)

Yes the dreaded Wattle! If you don't know that seriously invasive species, keep it that way because ignorance is bliss.

Good thing I'm going on Sunday - I still look like a legend riding with my geared buddies on my rigid SS. You okes will probably put a huge dent in my ego! Hehe

Burn It !

No dood that doesn't help. It just wets its appetite for a comeback, as does cutting it down (without poisoning it)

Thanks to Grant who came and picked my mate and I after he fell and cut his hand and hurt his wrist pretty bad. Called him and he was there in 5min.. No questions asked. Kinda makes paying for trails worth while. The guys there really care!!

Visited on Sunday morning. The directions weren't great for someone who isn't familiar with Modderfontein. I was lucky enough to see a couple of MTB'ers meeting up at one of the area's major intersections and they kindly offered for me to follow them. Thank goodness for friendly MTB'ers, or I would've turned around and gone home..

Getting lost was quickly forgotten when we started riding. Fantastic trails, a nice mix of everything and good banter with fellow cyclists. Good way to spend a Sunday morning.

Would've been even better if I didn't have to watch my dear friend Joe Low take a pretty spectacular tumble on one of the fast downhill sections..... good news is he survived..... he has a little less skin than when we started, but still fighting fit to see another day :)

I'll definitely be back
