I'm a happy Silverback owner/fan but they really try too hard to look German, why do I need to have a german flag and a "designed in Germany" slogan on my bike? I don't notice other brands punting their country of design (might be possible, just haven't noticed)

Makes sense to a degree cause we're a skeptic bunch. But I agree, it's a bit much. Are they not from Pee Eee? I'm sure that Retief guy was?Momsen is based in PE. Silverback's HQ is/was in Airport Industria Cape Town.

And Turner has a US flag on the ST. Most of those aren't as loud and proud as Silverback's German "roots"

Hence all the german mumbo jumbo. Hey if you dont like it just slap a bootsock or a sticker over it
