Dubber88 Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 Quick tip to force unit into mounting on computer : 1. Turn the unit off 2. Hold the PAGE/MENU/ENTER button (bottom left) down 3. Plug the unit into USB while still holding down the MENU button 4. Your device will eventually go to mass storage

Works fine on transferring to Garmin Training Centre.re-install the communicator plugin. Or, re-enable it as there has been a FF upgrade recently. Bad news might be that the communicator plugin is not compatible with the new FF yet.

Bad news might be that the communicator plugin is not compatible with the new FF yet. Nope it is compatible and working. Mine says Garmin Communicator 4.0.1.0 (under Add-ons > Extensions)

sometime Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 I did some homework and it seems the problem is caused by corrupt .fit files. One of my course .fit files was corrupt (indicated by strange characters in the file name). I deleted that file (I had to do it on the device itself) and now the problem is solved.
