How cr@p are those new Sky yellow ventless helmets (see Cav in above pic)... It looks like they have borrowed them off a 12 year old skateboarder.

 

not quite that bad, but the new fad of aero-ish helmets for road stages just isn't cool.

 

Sky, Lotto, Rabobank all doing it. Think maybe Garmin too.

How average was Paul&Phil yesterday? Fark, I was ready to smash up the telly after the constant drivel about the rainbow jersey, Mark Cav', the Manx man... it was blow that he fell off, such a great rider and the sprint would have been different with him in it but give it a rest. What about the other guys who lost skin in that tumble.

 

Used to like the banter from P&P, it was like listening to two crazy uncles jibber on about the cricket after a few afternoon tots. Harmless, entertaining and a long history behind it but now...

I was on my my to Knysna and missed the day on EuroSport and ended up watching the StupidSport coverage after the event. Boy oh boy, they are worse than I remember them being.
