Singular Swift for the weekend - CHECK

Worst possible weather in a long time up here in JHB - CHECK

Still amped and committed to riding Rietvlei this weekend - CHECK

 

Wish me luck guys. Its time to go for that first SS experience.

It will be Sunday from about 11:00.

 

If I remember correctly its a 34x18. Will be 100% sure when I get home. Wife is picking the bike up after work.

26'er or 29'er and what is the terrain like?

Might be there Sunday too. Playing a rugby game tomorrow evening and if I'm not to beat up plan on riding there Sunday. Will keep an eye out for you. I'm on my blue gt peace 9er rigid.

29er. Terrain is fairly flat. Quite a bit of single track and a few climbs.

That would be cool. Some tips would be great.

Don't know that I'm an expert only been riding SS for a year but what I can say is always carry momentum into hills and obstacles.

 

And when you can no longer cycle, walk.
