Tubeless Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Hi I have a 2011 Giant 29'er. The rear hub is very noisy. (when free-wheeling) In the beginning I thought...mmm.... cute. Now I am gat-vol. What are my options and what would it roughly cost? Does not have to be top of the range...... decent though. Thanks very much.

BLACKvoodoo Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 I sprayed a Motorcycle chain wax into mine , It comes in a aerosol comes out like Q20 but in a matter of seconds dries to form a tacky ..well ...wax. It actually silenced my hub completely.

Andro Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Some of these hub are designed like this, my Tune Hubs are noisy, running it with carbon wheels and frame enhanced the noise. Had some riders in my group say they know when I'm chasing them.. I smaaaak it... Might be wrong but isnt the Chris King hubs also quite noisy?? Dont change it. Its unique
