Hi all

Looking at getting a nicer set of gloves, riding with a pair of Fox gloves atm, but end with pins and needles or numb hands.

I personally think that there is no one set of best gloves. Obviously you get your Fox, First Ascent etc etc but I would like to say that needles and pins might be more related to your hand postion during rides andd correct setup. I personally use any brand of glove that fit my budget at the time, cause with me they all seem to last a year at the most

I have to say I've recently switched from cheapies to specialized womens gloves and the difference is astounding. they fit, they grip, and they cushion. love them

your setup is placing too much weight on your hands, hence the pins n needles as the nerve is affected. Gloves vary, some thick some thin, some padded some not, but wont take away pins n needles.

Currently using Fox Unabomber gloves, very nice indeed.

Had my Northwave Skeleton's for 2 years and love them.

Stay away from Giro Monaco gloves. They look and fit great, but as soon as they get wet all the dye on the inside leather transfers to your hands. It also stains everything it touches (other cycling gear), so a bit of a mess.

I wrote Giro a strongly worded mail about it on Sunday afternoon (still with black hands after trying everything to remove the stains!), but they haven't bothered to reply yet.
