We're not reinventing the wheel, but its safe to say the 650b wheel platform has been making as bigger waves on internet forums and it has on the trails as people find the stability and traction increase over 26in bikes, with a new trail feel thats definitely fun. The bigger-than-26 wheels work better over the bumps, but still give a good degree of snap. Smaller riders can get some of the benefits of 29in wheels, without the standover or geometry issues that trying to size a small bike with big wheels can bring. We've ridden them, we love them its a bike were really proud of, and were proud to launch with this fantastic spec. The frames a 650B twist on our current 456 Evo model, with all of the features its classic smaller wheeled bretheren offers. A trail friendly head angle, with a climbing friendly seat angle, along with a sensible bottom bracket height to keep trail obstacles the right distance away. shaper Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Was looking at this one earlier. I like!!! I also like as have been riding a 26er inbred as a 650b for over a year now with a 140 Talas fork (that has now become a rigid SS as I like it a lot), so know the feel even if the set up was not as recommended for the geometry. The geo will be slightly different, but the feel should be similar.... so am liking a lot !!
