It's possible that the spacing is a bit tight, but it will fit. How many mm's are we talking? It's a steel frame, you should be able to squeeze the hub in...

As Ryan asked, how many mm and can you fit the wheel if you lever open and fit the wheel in. On my inbred can insert and remove the wheel without issue and have standard XT hubs QR.
