I have tried the wheels from my spec (red metal) and my standard wheel from my flash, both didn't fit, they are both a couple of mm's too wide

I'm assuming you trying to fit them into the frame (rear wheel) - I'm pretty sure these frames take a standard hub. It's possible that the spacing is a bit tight, but it will fit. How many mm's are we talking?

It's a steel frame, you should be able to squeeze the hub in...

Maybe one of the rear triangles has got bent slightly? As Ryan asked, how many mm and can you fit the wheel if you lever open and fit the wheel in.

On my inbred can insert and remove the wheel without issue and have standard XT hubs QR.

Hmmm interesting, yes I may need to file some of the paint off perhaps.

Thanks

The Cotic roadrat frame has a spacing of 132.5mm to enable the use of road or MTB hubs.

I (probably my kids, they are there to take the blame and bear the brunt of my rage) lost my one on-one chaintug for my Inbred build.

Shot in the dark, but does anyone have one kicking about that they are willing to part with?

The Surly ones fit and they double as a bottle opner, but, it costs the same as a minor service.
