RocknRolla Posted July 25, 2014 Share Seadog graciously sent me some chaintugs that he had kicking about. For Free! None the less. Seadog and Pieter1
RocknRolla Posted July 28, 2014 Share Some Pics. Fornt Part Back Part Last week's shakedown Ride at Rietvlei went less than stellar. The chain kept on dropping. And I had an issue with my steering. This weekend had a lekker ride at Avianto on saturday, all went well, other than front brake fade on the Avid. Bled the brakes when I got home, rode on sunday, and the front brake went all squishy again. I guess I would need to have the avids serviced. Not missing my front suspension yet - the carbon fork is pretty awesome, and with the 2.3 tyres at low pressure, it goes pretty smoothly down the rough stuff. Love the way I can pick up the front, being so light while climbing. the steel is a dream to ride. Finally I know what everyone is on about. Also ordered a pair but worried clearance could be a problem .
RocknRolla Posted July 28, 2014 Share I did experience some clearance issues on the back tyre yesterday, I need to check the distances, but there is not a helluva lot of space between the tyre and the frame. I am however almost willing to live with it because of the awesomeness of these tyres. Will keep an eye out to see how it fares over time.
RocknRolla Posted July 28, 2014 Share Fixed I got these Avid's for Mahala, if I had the cash, they would have been Shimano's. But for now they will have to remain till the money tree in the garden blossoms. Ryanpmb
