Have prices gone up that much since march, I think I paid 32. For mine Completely new with all XT except slx brake system ( won break shoot out in 2012), arch ex rims with geax sarguaro TNT tubeless set up, Thompson lay back seat post with gobi Kium saddle, I went for Easton stem and bars,

I must admit prices of new bikes are seriously scary, my rd bike is a Scott foil 10 with SRAM red black with mavic sr wheels, I'm so damn scared something may happen to my bikes that my wife sleeps in another room, me with the bikes, rationale I can always get another wife but with the price of bikes I sure as hell won't b in a position to replace in near future.

I had to *** and betaal.... I had the chance to buy a full fat bike last year for R 37k and I dithered, so my own fault.

My wife has named my bike 'New Kitchen'..... I still haven't figured out what she's on about yet:-)

Tell your wife your bike is WAY cheaper than a new kitchen...

Didn't realize you were refering to your build G... You're probably spot on re paying the premium for 650B parts at the time. Still a beaut build!

me=> thinking of building a hard tail, probably a 29er. something for a flat quick ride,

Love the Pyga on the technical stuff though, but it's more setup for slow fun tech, not long distance speed/single track/jeep track.

or is it that I'm just itching...

hmm, something different, now I'm curious.

Haha, you know what's indispenable it seems.

Sure prices have gone up big time, but I'm not sure how you could have come out at R32k even in March when the rand was 8.8 to the dollar.
