Regarding the frame, what type of riding would that ST be best suited to (Trail, AM, Freeride etc)?

So Google answered this for me.....

Did a search and from some of the forums was able to establish that the Shova ST is a fairly capable XC, Marathon, Trail, AM and Light DH bike (Component dependant of course...)

Damn, I want one!!

Thanx for the replies!

Yeah got it straigt from morewood.

I've got a fair mech background so I'm considering doing it myself, but will see.

I got it to do mostly XC / trail. Got a Zula as well that I'm very reluctant to sell, but I've always wanted a Shova since the first day I saw them!

Apparently it's a very capabale bike handling just about anything you throw at it (obviously not full on DH), but it'll be too much machine for most of my (& guess also the average rider's) needs.

Cant' wait for this bike to be complete!!!

Need to spend more $$$ - lol

I spoke to CharlG recently and I am seriously considering rebuilding my Mongoose around one of these frames..... Must decide if I want a DH bike or a new Morewood!!!

Boet that is way 2 much bike for this here Vrystaat

Very nice though

Surely the free state is mainly flat, but eastern free state is not that flat.

I love hikes in natal / drakensberg, so while I'm on my way there I'll take a detour & go karkloof & howick

MoreWood surely has 'the looks' of downhill inspired, but there are some guys on xc races with GT 140/150mm travel bikes as well as some Giant reigns. I know I'll be the lone Shova guy pitching up at some races

Nope, I see them now & then during Xc Mtb events. I even passed one during this years' Argus, knobblies and all!
