Kallie. Posted September 16, 2012 Share I died out there today. I bombed out quite early after a big effort to try catch the CL bunch after the mud road, big mistake. Also started cramping at about 80kms, first time this happened to me. Only managed a 3:42, oh well, I'll just have to train harder for the next one!! Agteros Posted September 16, 2012 Share Jissie some okes donnered down around us (mix of GL and some other groups) - heard from my medic mate 2 or 3 collarbones ....... I escaped unscathed this time!Just before the 95km mark, after turning left to go up parallel to the R59 a bloke in our group went off the road on the left and bought a huge farm. Not sure how he managed it to do it The wind made for nervous moments in the groups with a bit of lateral movement from time to time. I reckon other organizers can learn a lot from these guys. Just a pity about the wiiiiiind. And that mud bath in the beginning, I got mud in places I didn't even know my bike had places.
