Great self-defense knife, just make sure you get one with a retention clip thingy on the sheaf otherwise you will lose it. No Hare Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 In what way ? I suppose you are referring to the sheath. The retention clip works on the principal of push and pull. If you carry like I do and on the left side, the retention clip will be sitting next to your body. You will have to push the knife handle into your side to release it from the sheath. This maneuver is rather painful. Wearing a few pieces of clothing and it becomes very difficult to release the knife. I bought mine in 2011 and they may have changed the sheathing to accommodate lefties, I may be wrong but looking at the picture it doesn’t seem so.
