Have you been able to listen to the ML Theos? Considering that as my consolidated loudspeaker set. Love the look of the MLs.

Sadly I have not had the opportunity.

I do understand they are more affordable than the previous range, the only downside is that you can't fine tune the woofer.

They should sound awesome though.

And then really hit it hard with a favorite for oom Schalk and myself.

Haha, would definately have to do that. Although, I'm an esl guy....highs and lows are overrated!

On a more serious note, Diana K, Priscilla Ahn, Rodrigo y gabriela and Johnny Cash always form part of my test session. If a system can replicate the drumming on the guitar front with Rodrigo, I'm impressed. BUT...every now and again it's time for some Rolling Stones or BRMC.

PS, I've got the Grado SR60s - really do think that's one of the cheapest ways to get a taste of true music. Add a Woo audio to the mix and you're sorted. Can't imagine what the GS must sound like!

I am no headphone fund so can't say too much about various cans.

Grado claims that the GS 1000 i Statements "create a room"

I can confirm this.

They have an incredible sound and sound more "speaker" like than headphones with a massive soundstage.

I reckon they sound better than some real high-end speakers.

This makes super high sound quality quite affordable actually.

The only snag, they are not completely "private" they leak sound to outsiders and also you hear noises form the outside in due to their open design.

My puppies.

those are some damn nice looking 'phones there, Anton... Make my Sennheiser HD 212's look like a cheap toy...

Those are good just have a bit too much bass. Prefer a more natural sound. I have a pair of Roland Rh-5's, use them when I am working with bands.

The Sennie's or the Grado's.

I find the Grado's to have a very neutral sound.

Anton how easy are those Grado's to drive? Can you recall the impedance off-hand?

Now those are cool... closed system has quite a different sound to it, doesn't it?

Oh - the only thing wrong with my Sennies are that the foam covering on the speakers was chewed by an energetic puppy. I was NOT happy when that happened. Otherwise, 9 years and still going strong.
