Guest Travis.

what group you in Tevez.

me and prozac are in A

what bike/kit you got prozac

I'm afraid I'll start far behind you. E iirc, but will probably start later to ride with some mates. Going for a 3:30, but will be happy for a relaxed 4:00.

I'm going for a training ride for 94.7 and for a few beers, might be a hungover like the Argus this year where I got 3:52. If I knew I was gonna be THAT thirsty while doing the Argus, I'd have drank more the night before :whistling:

Yup, don't be fooled by the route profile. Like someone said, it is not all downhill from PMB to DBN.

Plenty of climbing to be done in the first half. Suggest you warm up properly, as the climbing starts almost immediately.

Once you get on the highway into DBN (after the very short / sharp climb underneath the bridge), you are mostly into a headwind, with the wind blowing from the sea and the sloped embankments of the highway acting as a funnel. This can be a nasty surprise to already tired legs.

This rate as one of my alltime favorite races.

I'm also in A.

Problem is I'm not getting old, I'm already old, and old legs don't like climbing in the first ten k's.

It's going to be a hard day in the saddle.

Is that the problem ?

I thought that I just took longer to warm up :whistling: :whistling:

@Clay

There's a sure way to guarantee that you don't get dropped on the 1st climb - ATTACK !!!!

@Bronabee

Thought you were going to push me since this is your home race.

See you tomorrow :clap: :clap:
