The only reason would be the cost I guess.

I hadnt had a good look at them, but thanks to you I see the frame rates are double on the black, and thats a big win

Only model that makes sense to me is the Black.

 

1080p at 50fps makes editing a lot better especially if you make use of Twixor plug-in for Premier and After Effects.

 

Already have a couple of ideas for custom rigs to simulate array shots

R4999 from Outdoor Warehouse.

 

Local branch had 4, all pre ordered/allocated, I was first to pick mine up, the staff did not even know they arrived yet, except for the lady that phoned me, was told I only had till 17:00 to fetch otherwise it would be allocated to the next person on the waiting list.
