For those interested.

I've created a google calendar which people can subscribe to.

Find it at:

ICS:https://www.google.com/calendar/ical/td10ou5tq2adltgo1urehq2gdo%40group.calendar.google.com/public/basic.ics

HTML:https://www.google.com/calendar/embed?src=td10ou5tq2adltgo1urehq2gdo%40group.calendar.google.com&ctz=Africa/Johannesburg

XML:https://www.google.com/calendar/feeds/td10ou5tq2adltgo1urehq2gdo%40group.calendar.google.com/public/basic

The ics file can be downloaded from the above link, I've made the file public.

If you have problems pm me and I'll help.

Thanks for that jcza.

Anyone know of a complete mtb calender doing the rounds? Quite keen to see the national XCO series for next year. I know 1 or 2 people wanting to try to qualify for the XCO world cup in August.

Is the MTN Barberton race worthwhile? Pretty keen since it falls in varsity holidays...

Most definitely! The marathon is a stunning route - mostly district road, but up and over the most magnificent mountains, which happen to be the oldest on the planet.

No Lionman!

"Mabalingwe under new management the event is no longer, replaced with rooiberg"

That's my mention on Twitter! I asked the question, because I also found it strange. I'm sure Lion Man will still happen, just not under the advendurance banner. Hoping that they move it a week earlier as it was the weekend before sani2c this year.

Yes it is an ambiguous answer, since it was only this year that Lion Man was part of Advent. series, but "new management" does sound a bit dodge. If anything they should cut the 4x4 trails there, they are doing a lot of damage.

I see they have a one-day Legend Gorge event again, that was a great ride. Bit further that Lion Man, but still do-able for a day trip from Jhb.

Talking Lion Man, what about DG's wins this year at events like this? is there going to be some sanction?
