The marathon is a stunning route - mostly district road, but up and over the most magnificent mountains, which happen to be the oldest on the planet. Yes it is an ambiguous answer, since it was only this year that Lion Man was part of Advent. series, but "new management" does sound a bit dodge. If anything they should cut the 4x4 trails there, they are doing a lot of damage. I see they have a one-day Legend Gorge event again, that was a great ride. Bit further that Lion Man, but still do-able for a day trip from Jhb. Talking Lion Man, what about DG's wins this year at events like this? is there going to be some sanction?
