Discovery website says it can take up to 30 days to reflect. I'm guessing the workouts you've just uploaded will reflect at the end of the month.

They will sort that out, they for allot of systems automated, process driven.

yea it is a beta version, so there are bound to be issues here and there, but very chuffed that I can now earn points with my edge 500. Don't want to stir but I don't see a link for bryton units...whistling.gif

Only from the unit via garmin upload plugin. Would have been cool to manually upload from file store, maybe its coming

What i cant figure out is that they assign points according to HR , but nowhere does it say what they think my Max HR should be. I know in theory its 189 but in reality its 174.

Do they only use HR to allocate points, and not distance of events? I generally don't cycle with a HRM, and I never run with one, though I do use my Garmin to track speed and distance for both sports. Do I now need to wear a HRM?

This is what it says on their site:

With your Garmin device, you’ll earn points in the fitness category if you exercise at a specific intensity, for a specific time. Each adult can earn up to 15 000 Vitality fitness points and another 24 000 bonus fitness points each year.

Points take up to one week to show on your Vitality membership after you upload it on LivingVitality.

Please note: If you use the GarminConnect website to upload your workout data, you still need to upload your workout data on LivingVitality to earn your Vitality points.

How to calculate your Vitality points

To earn 150 Vitality points a day, you have to do at least 30 minutes of physical activity at or above a specific intensity for at least 30 minutes a session.Because different activity devices collect different information, we explain below what you will need to do to earn Vitality points depending on the type of data your device collects. The tables also show the number of Vitality points you earn when you exercise at the required intensity.

The LivingVitality uses MapMyFitness. So if you upload to MapMyFitness, it logs it to Discovery.

The LivingVitality doesn't do manual uploads of .tcx files, but MapMyFitness does... wink.png

I uploaded my Bryton .tcx files to MapMyFitness and it reflected on Discovery, although I hit "Limits Apply" for a lot of fitness stuff back in April, you still get the bonus points.

Does any body else experience the problem that when you try upload a large file of say 2hrs + it report as failed but when downloading smaller files of up to 60min it is fine?

Does anyone know the solution to this?

Lastly when you upload a file to mapmyfitness it won't let you decide if it a running file etc as it goes straight to cycling as activity.

Any help would be great thanks.
