niterider Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 I rode my first Epic on a hardtail and the next two on a full suspension. I can't say there was much difference on my arse - like people have said, as long as you are used to it, it is fine. Where the dual suspension helps is when you are tired - you can ride out of some situations that would have been trickier on the hardtail.

The one you want to buy an upgrade for - not cause it needs it - just because you love it that much. The one with your butt imprint in the saddle. that is the right bike for Epic! Ah! So you are saying I have to stick with my EMD9 race build after I just bought myself a Anthem X29? Not for the epic though but for stage racing and marathons.
