Exactly. You don't buy an orange because it looks good. It doesn't care. It just WORKS. It makes no bones about needing a lockout feature to climb at all responsibly. It's a single pivot descending machine built to last and be serviceable.

That's it. And it rocks.

Well it's definitely not terrible but they good try harder in the looks dept, it's just that swingarm fabrication that lets them down.

It baffles me that more wood never updated the Shova!

650b with modern geometry and it would have rocked

i would want one of those more than I want a sukuma or jabula, thats for sure

Longer TT (& reach), slacker HA, steeper SA, 142mm x 12mm rear triangle (like the new Zula / Izimu style), longer shock stroke length (so it's not drowned by the single pivot's 'behaviour'), tapered head tube, ISCG tabs...

At least we can dream.

...oh wait, i've just described the Heckler!

I like my Shova lots, but the Heckler is a different hooligan altogether!

The single pivot works awesome with the corset air can or the RS Debonair.

Exactly what you described..........yet they missed the boat ........ actually, I think Morewood have just decided to take a sleep mid day and not woken up again.

looking at the geo, the top tube seems to be more on the compact side compared to other bike brands.
