So my road bike got crushed on my bike carrier when a car rear ended me :(

Looking at a chinese frame, any of you have experience with the FM069?

I am keen on either the FM069 or FM066(sl).

I would get the fm069 as it is a newer model and it looks better

Do yours not flex slightly on the ends if you push down on the bars?

Nope not at all, they are extremely stiff and I think only weigh 120g.

I ride quite hard and like to do some trail riding with this bike as well and have not (touch wood) had any issues.

Mine seems strong and well made, but like I say have some flex to them.

Does anyone know where I can get a rear axle .... Preferably to fit an FM057 .. ?

CWC had the alero ones... Not sure if they still do, but no longer on their website.

You need the 12mm shimano style axle which is threaded with a nut on the end as the frame isnt threaded.

I have one I bought on Ebay for pretty cheap. Scared to use it. It does look very nice.

Why did you buy bars if you are scared to use them?

I am building up a bike for someone to use riding the beachfront in Durban. Going to use them on that bike.

Riding or cruising? ;)

Even a cheapy carbon bar won't just break from normal riding.

Take it offroad or start doing trick riding with it and you might be more concerned.
