I wish I could get contacts to fit into my eyes, its a real mission, had them once, never tried again

I ride with contacts. the big prob is that when you are seriously sending it you do not blink often enough to keep the damn things lubes and so when you do eventually blink they leave your eyes completely.

Same as the fly and ixs..

Just need to check the kenny has removable wick lining and the quality of the lining can be the only difference

Not really stellar reviews for those helmets, which seem to be white labeled. Can't imagine the Kenny would be any better. Pity, as it's a good looking helmet.

Got two pair of gloves last month .

These I wear everyday , very comfy and light but adequate protection .

I've tried these once but will keep them for the winter , simply too hot for summer use .

Have a pair of the orange Thor gloves, I have been using them for over a year now. The rubber bits on the fingers have all fallen off the the grip on the finger tips as well, besides for that and a few small holes from punching trees at speed they still look decent and work well

Backpacks helping to protect ones back... Evoc and Dakine have been mentioned.

Are these available locally? If so where?

Recommended models?

I know this has been discussed a bit but I cant find the threads...

The Dakine backpacks are brilliant and Dial'ds prices are really competitive. My office has ordered a couple from them and their service is the best I've experience online in SA.

Anyone looking for a Lyrik?

  • 2012
  • White
  • Straight Steerer 1, 1/8th
  • Motion Control DH RC2
  • Solo Air
  • 20mm Thru Axle
  • Spaced to 150mm (is 170mm travel fork)

Fork has some cosmetic damage on it's left lower due to rub against another bike on bike rack. Other than that it's in excellent condition.
